Hey there, I’m Judy and I’m a fashion designer. If you’re reading this then I assume you’re interested in working with me(yay!). So here are a few things I can tell you about myself:
I have a fashion design background with over 8 years of experience. I also ran my own active apparel company. I guess that makes me a design ninja. Being naturally creative, I started my career in graphic design after getting my interactive arts degree in from SFU. However, since my family has always been in the fashion and apparel production business, it was natural for me to pursue fashion design. And also because it’s FASHION.
After getting my degree from FIDM in Los Angeles, I’ve had the experience to design and produce everything from g-strings to yoga pants to dog clothing. I’ve also successfully ran my own athletic wear label where I led the entire design process from concept to production. Ladyboss? Check.
I’m meticulously organized - borderline OCD.I’m not sure about you but I don’t know a lot of designers who are creative but are also really organized. While we’re a rare breed, I think it’s really valuable to have someone on a design team who knows exactly where to find every swatch, lab dip and sample. I love organizing and I take pride in finding better and more efficient ways to improve existing processes.
After all, I organize my underwear drawer by color, style and material – how many designers do you know that do that?
So that’s me in a nutshell. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about my work or my in-depth knowledge about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Let’s chat soon about how we could work together - thanks for stopping by my page!
